Workshops and Events

Sustainable Papakura is pleased to offer a range of workshops to support Sustainable Living and Waste Minimisation and to provide an opportunity to learn new skills, learn about waste issues, meet others with mutual interests and experience the excitement of 'Make Your Own'. You'll learn to use free or low cost materials, many of which you already have to hand, to make packaging-free items for everyday use. These will enable you to replace disposables with re-useables. You'll also learn to repair and makeover treasured items, extending their life and your pleasure in them. Some workshops are Free, some include a materials fee, others attract a workshop fee.
