Gaining Skills for Sustainable Living
Sustainable Papakura is pleased to offer a range of workshops to support sustainable living and waste minimisation, and to provide an opportunity to learn new skills, learn about waste issues, meet others with mutual interests and experience the excitement of 'Making Your Own'. Some workshops are free, some include a materials fee, others attract a workshop fee.
Please check the calendar below for our workshop and events. Go to the month you want and click on the event you are interested in for further information and to register where necessary.

Project Working Bees
Getting involved with our Community projects through regular working bees is a great way to contribute to your community, promote sustainability, and connect with like minded others in your community. It is also an opportunity to learn new skills. Currrent projects are making Awhio Mai Peke re-useable bags, tending the Urban Edible Planters, and making items for our Sustainable Shop.
