Slippers For Kids

What Is This About?

In partnership with Kootuitui Trust, Slippers for Kids involves supplying schools in the Kootuitui Trust cluster with really warm slippers knitted by community volunteers.

Slippers are distributed by Kootuitui Trust to children in their schools.

How It Works

Sustainable Papakura has donated wool, a pattern, and some spare needles for anyone wanting to knit for our local kids. We’ll also be glad to teach people to knit.

The pattern is available on request or can be emailed to volunteers.  Let us know if you would like a delivery of wool.

Interested in a Knit -In? Let us know and we'll organise this.  Come along and learn or just knit in good company.
